Colin McMurry

Colin is particularly passionate about building for the future. He is a strong advocate for investing in automation, advanced manufacturing technology, data, and artificial intelligence to make Cast Products more efficient, scalable, and competitive. He enjoys challenging traditional ways of doing things and identifying opportunities to use new technology and smarter processes to improve how the company operates, serves its customers, and makes decisions.

His focus is on building sustainable, long-term growth—strengthening partnerships with customers, developing new business, and ensuring Cast Products continues investing in its people, equipment, technology, and capabilities. While he is passionate about growth and innovation, Colin believes two things must remain non-negotiable: exceptional quality and exceptional customer service.

Before beginning his career in manufacturing, Colin competed in NCAA Division I baseball at UAB. The competitiveness, preparation, and team-first mentality developed through athletics continue to influence his approach to leadership and business today.

Colin also believes strongly in giving back to the community that has supported Cast Products and his family for generations. He believes successful businesses have a responsibility to invest not only in their own future, but also in the communities they call home.

Outside of Cast Products, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf, and following all things sports. He is an active member at First Methodist Church and an avid Crimson Tide sports fan.
